The U.S. attorney's office in Atlanta said Quentin Booker pleaded guilty Friday to charges of aiding and abetting the armed robberies, and aiding and abetting the carrying and use of a gun during the commission of crimes of violence.
Prosecutors said Booker and others robbed armored car couriers between October 2010 and March 2011. Prosecutors say the group took more than $470,000 in cash during six robberies.
Booker acted as a lookout during five robberies, according to the attorney's office. One of those was the robbery of a Dunbar Armored courier who was restocking cash in an ATM machine. The November 11, 2010, robbery was at a Bank of America branch in Buford.
Prosecutors said the robbers robbed the couriers right after they picked up cash or as the courier was about to restock an ATM.
Prosecutors said Booker was a lookout during five robberies.
Eight other people have pleaded guilty in the robberies.
