Boys basketball: GHS closes strong to beat Loganville

The Gainesville boys basketball team overcame a slow start to down Loganville, 69-61 on Tuesday.

The Red Elephants (14-9, 7-7 Region 8-AAAAA) were led by 16 points apiece from Sam Carpenter and Luke Maddox.

Gainesville will take on Cedar Shoals on Wednesday.
