Toccoa firm chosen for Cartersville school renovation

TOCCOA - Bartow County Schools has awarded Bowen & Watson, Inc. of Toccoa a 12,429 square foot interior remodel of the Bartow County College and Career Academy.

The College and Career Academy opened in August 2013 and is housed at the Old Cass High School on Grassdale Road in Cartersville. Bowen & Watson's scope of work includes renovating to provide four new areas:

-Physical Medicine
-Public Safety
-Student Activity
-Science Laboratory

The project is scheduled for completion in July and the facility will remain occupied and operational during construction without interruption.

This will mark Bowen & Watson's 2nd project for the Bartow County School System in as many years. Emerson Elementary School, a new 88,000 square foot, $12.8 million dollar facility is currently being constructed by Bowen & Watson in Emerson, Georgia.
