Basketball: North Hall sweeps past Fannin County

BLUE RIDGE -- The North Hall boys basketball team inched ahead early and then pulled away late for a 48-35 win over Fannin County on Monday in Blue Ridge.

Carson Heinen scored a game-high 13 points to lead the Trojans (6-16, 3-8 Region 7-AAA), while Brock Wingo added 12.

Will Holloway scored 11 points for the Rebels.

North Hall led 13-12 after the first quarter and 26-19 at the half.

The Trojans will play host to Dawson County on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Sydney Cleveland scored a game-high 19 points to help lead the Lady Trojans past the Lady Rebels on Monday in Blue Ridge.

Kensi Gillespie also added 18 points for North Hall (15-7, 7-4 Region 7-AAA).

Molly Chandler scored 16 points to pace Fannin County.

North Hall will play host to Dawson County on Tuesday.
