Bishop leads after day one of Rudolph Junior Classic

The first round of the 2013 Rudolph Junior Classic was held Saturday at Chattahoochee Golf Club. The Rudolph was originally scheduled in December but was postponed due to excessive rain. <br /> <br /> Blake Parkman from Cumming is leading the 10-13 age division with a first round 79. In second is Erik Forberg -- 80 -- and Nick Lasseter is third with 81. Forberg and Lasseter are also from Cumming.<br /> <br /> Christian Payne, from Cumming, fired an opening round 82 and has a one shot lead over Grant Fox of Alapharetta -- 83 in the 14-15 division. Third place belongs to Gainesville's Drew Lasseter -- 85.<br /> <br /> In the 16-18 division, Gainesville Red Elephant Jackson Bishop was the only player in the field to break par with an opening 71. Hunter Young, a North Hall Trojan golfer is two shots back in second place with a fine opening round 73. Ben Burnette from Buford is alone in third after firing a 76.<br /> <br /> The final round will be held Sunday, first tee time is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
