GA deputy accused of drawing gun at Christmas party

WARRENTON, Ga. (AP) - State law enforcement agents are investigating allegations that a sheriff's deputy hosting a Christmas party at his home drew his gun and pointed it at a guest. <br /> <br /> The Augusta Chronicle reports that the Warren County Sheriff's Office asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to look into the case. <br /> <br /> GBI Special Agent in Charge Pat Morgan said the agency was contacted Dec. 14 by Warren County Sheriff Joe Peebles to investigate the incident. <br /> <br /> Authorities said the case remains under investigation and will be turned over to the district attorney's office for review upon completion.
