Gwinnett Tech opening north Fulton County campus

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) A north Georgia college is preparing to break ground on a new campus. <br />
<br />
Officials at Lawrenceville-based Gwinnett Technical College say the groundbreaking ceremony for their new north Fulton County campus is scheduled for Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. <br />
<br />
The school's new campus will be located on Old Milton Parkway near Georgia 400 in Alpharetta. <br />
<br />
The school was founded in 1984 and serves more than 10,000 students in more than 50 degree, diploma and certificate programs.
