Monday PM head-on closes Clark's Bridge Road

GAINESVILLE - Clarks Bridge Road was closed for several hours as authorities worked on clearing a head-on collision.

Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said that the wreck happened on the bridge itself.

It happened just after 5:30 p.m. and involved two vehicles.

"Both patients were extrcated," Cagle explained, "and were transported to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. One of those patients had a critical injury."

The incident was being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.

The names of those involved have not been released.
