Girls basketball: Buford pulls off comeback at Banks Co.

HOMER -- The Buford girls basketball team trailed by 11 points at the half and 13 points in the third quarter but still managed to pull off a 47-45 win over Banks County on Tuesday in Homer.

The Lady Wolves (17-1, 9-0 Region 7-AAA) sank two free throws with four seconds remaining to complete the comeback.

Camille Anderson scored 13 points to lead Buford, while Caitlyn Dawkins added 11.

Kaitlyn Duncan paced Banks County with a game-high 22 points.

The Lady Leopards will look to bounce back on Friday against West Hall.

Buford will look to keep rolling on Friday at Fannin County.
