DAHLONEGA - Lumpkin County school officials said a memorial service for a student who was killed over the weekend in a car crash is now scheduled for next week.

Jason Lemley, an administrator with the system, said the date and time had not yet been finalized Tuesday afternoon.

There will not be a service Wednesday of this week as had been earlier planned.

Annah Robinson, 16, was the front seat passenger in a car that crashed Saturday night just feet from the driveway of her home on Rail Hill Road. Her 13-year-old sister Emily Robinson was critically injured and her boyfriend, 18-year-old Forrest Blake, who was driving, was injured, as well.

The fatal accident occurred just after 7 p.m. Saturday, according to the Georgia State Patrol. An investigation into the accident is ongoing. No charges have been filed.

Grief counselors are expected to be on duty at the high school Tuesday as students return to school after the MLK holiday.
