Lumpkin crash leaves one dead, two injured

Lumpkin County - One person was killed and two others were hospitalized following a Saturday night crash in Lumpkin County.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident occurred on Rail Hill Road around 7:05 pm, when a northbound 2014 Ford Mustang being driven by 18-year-old Forrest Blake left the roadway, striking a tree with the passenger's side door.

The front seat passenger in the car, identified at 16-year-old Annah Robinson, was killed in the accident. Another passenger, identified as 13-year-old Emily Robinson, was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta for treatment. Blake was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

All three are from Lumpkin County, according to the State Patrol.

The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
