Girls basketball: Lady Rebels knock off Lady Tigers

BLUE RIDGE -- The Fannin County girls basketball team jumped out to a 20-13 first quarter lead and held off Dawson County for a 58-45 victory on Friday in Blue Ridge.

Ashley Parker scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Lady Tigers (13-6, 4-4 Region 7-AAA). Sheyenne Seabolt also scored 15 in the defeat.

Dawson County will look to bounce back on Tuesday in a key match-up with White County in Dawsonville.
