GAINESVILLE - Two convicted felons face charges after one allegedly threatened to shoot a homeowner during a confrontation in a residence on Short Road in Hall County Thursday.

26-year-old Gregory Kyle Robinson of Gainesville and 19-year-old Shakir Caleb Jackson of Lawrenceville face a list of weapons and drug charges following their arrests, according to the Gainesville-Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad.

Hall County Sheriff's Office Patrol Deputies responded to the initial incident.

"The homeowner alleges that Mr. Robinson threatened to shoot him in the head. They (suspects) were detained. We were notified I think due to the fact that I was looking at Mr. Robinson," MANS Lt. Scott Ware said.

Ware said deputies found the suspects in a vehicle on the property where the alleged threat happened. He said Robinson had over $700 cash and one round of 9mm ammunition on him.

Authorities also searched the vehicle the two were in.

"...approximately 24 grams of methamphetamine, rounds of .380 ammunition, a .380 semi-automatic pistol as well as photographs of Mr. Robinson holding an assault-type .22 caliber high-capacity magazine rifle," Ware said.

Ware said the meth was in small baggies and was worth about $2400 on the street. He said they also found a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle.

Investigators also searched the residence.

"Inside the residence we located high-capacity magazines which matched the pictures which was located in the vehicle driven by Mr. Robinson, as well as a 9mm semi-automatic handgun," Ware said.

Ware said Robinson was scheduled to appear in Carrollton Thursday on another case. Authorities there issued a bench warrant.

In Hall County, Robinson is charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, two counts of
possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and terroristic threats.

Jackson is charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Both men were booked into the Hall County Jail, according to Ware.
