CLEVELAND - Firefighters in White County were called to a reported home explosion at 431 Arthur Allen Road Sunday night.

White County Public Safety Director David Murphy said White County 9-1-1 received the call that a doublewide mobile home had exploded.

"The call received just before 7 p.m. reported a gas leak under the residence and the home had exploded," Murphy said. "Fire could be seen under the residence."

White County Fire Department Stations 2 and 3, Cleveland Fire Department and firefighters from Lee Arrendale State Prison in Alto responded, Murphy said.

The home was damaged, and the American Red Cross was called to assist the residents. No one was hurt in the incident.

"County fire investigators were called to investigate the incident," Murphy said.

Arthur Allen Road is located off Georgia Highway 255 South.
