Storm knocks out power to Banks County

HOMER - The Banks County 9-1-1 Center is operating on a generator and hundreds of others in Banks County are without power after a severe thunderstorm Saturday morning.

"Jackson EMC has 432 Banks County residents without power," said Banks County Emergency Management Agency/9-1-1 Director Deidra Moore.

Also, a tree fell at Prospect and Damascus roads, Moore said.
