Girls basketball: Chestatee storms past Monroe Area

GAINESVILLE -- The Chestatee girls basketball team cruised to a 55-30 win over Monroe Area on Friday in Gainesville.

Bridgette Belly scored 21 points, 14 in the first quarter, to help secure the win. Kelly sank four 3-pointers during the game. Maggee Wilson also scored 15, 10 in third quarter, for Chestatee.

Chestatee will travel to Madison County on Tuesday.
