UNDATED - A Buford location is among several Rite Aid stores that have been victimized in the Atlanta area by armed robbers since last fall.

Authorities believe a father and son may be committing the crimes, and they said the younger suspect could be as young as 12.

A report in the Atlanta Journal Constitution said the Buford incident took place on December 6 at the Rite Aid on Nelson Brogdon Boulevard. The report said the suspects stole cigars, Advil and cash from the store safe and registers. In addition, the suspects demanded cell phones and cash from store employees.

The AJC report indicated the other Rite Aid stores that were robbed were located in Douglasville, Atlanta, Fayetteville and Cobb County.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
