Wind chill, winter weather adivsory

A rare (for Georgia) wind chill advisory has been issued for parts or North and Central Georgia, including the Gainesville area.

It is just the latest winter weather alert posted by the National Weather Service (NWS) as an arctic blast of cold air heads toward the state.

In addition, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the following counties: Hall, Forsyth, Gwinnett, Dekalb, Fulton,
Dawson, Fannin, Lumpkin, Pickens, Towns, Union, and White from 10 pm Sunday night to Noon Monday.
