The accident happened in Harbins Park, according to Gwinnett County Police Sgt. R. D. Work.
Police said the man had some sort of accident on the bike, causing him to fall. No foul play is suspected, according to Work.
Work said the people with the victim didn't know exactly where they were in the park. Authorities used a police helicopter to find the victim, who had died from his injuries when fire personnel found him.
Police were notifying the man's family before releasing his name.
