Forsyth Co. 'ERecycle' planned Oct. 26

CUMMING - Keep Forsyth County Beautiful has planned an "ERecycle" event for Saturday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cumming Fairgrounds' parking lot #3 off of Castleberry Road. <br /> <br /> Accepted items for recycling include laptops, stereos, CD players, cell phones, <br /> microwaves, cameras and more. The minimum donation per carload drop-off is $5 while <br /> <br /> an additional $10 fee will apply for each television. <br /> <br /> "We are very proud to offer this event to the community," Environmental Program <br /> Manager Tammy Wright said. "By recycling their old electronics, residents can remove unwanted items from their home while also making a difference in our environment."<br /> <br /> Some items, such as wooden console televisions, projector televisions, toaster ovens and refrigerators, will not be accepted during the event.
