DAWSONVILLE - A 39-year-old Lawrenceville man was flown from the scene of a two-car accident that blocked the southbound lanes of Georgia 400 in Dawson County Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ga. 400 and Industrial Park Road, according to the Georgia State Patrol. The southbound side of 400 was blocked for over an hour.

A 37-year-old Flowery Branch woman is charged with failure to yield when crossing/entering a roadway in connection with the crash. Stephanie Michele Johnson allegedly crossed into the southbound lanes of 400 in an SUV, according to the patrol.

Her vehicle was hit by another SUV.

Troopers said one of Johnson's passengers, Arch Cleveland, was ejected from the Jeep Cherokee. He was flown to Atlanta Medical Center for treatment.

Four of the five people in the two vehicles suffered injuries, but only Cleveland was transported to a hospital, according to the state patrol.
