Jefferson food processor sold to Phoenix company

JEFFERSON - A Jefferson-based frozen food supplier has been sold to a Phoenix company for $38 million dollars.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that Fresh Frozen Foods, LLC has been purchased by Inventure Foods, Inc.

The company, which also has a processing facility in the south Georgia town of Thomasville, has been in business since 1975. Fresh Frozen Foods processes and supplies more than 60 varieties of food to retailers across the southeast.

Fresh Frozen Foods is reported to have annual revenues of about $60 million.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Inventure manufactures and markets specialty food brands under company-owned and licensed brand names including Boulder Canyon Natural Foods, Jamba, Rader Farms, T.G.I. Friday's, Nathan's Famous, Burger King, Poore Brothers, Tato Skins and Bob's Texas Styles.
