GAINESVILLE -- East Hall scored a run in the top of the seventh to pull out a 5-4 win over North Hall Tuesday in Region 7-AAA girls softball action.

Chelsea Dale singled in Abby Black, who had singled earlier in the inning, for the go-ahead run. Black had singled earlier in the lead scoring MaKayla Wilson to tie to the game.

East Hall would gun down a runner at the plate to end the game and preserve the win.

Kali Turner had three hits, including a home run, to pace the East Hall offense. She was a triple away from hitting for the cycle.

Natalie Winters got the win allowing just one earned run on six hits while fanning two.

The Lady Vikings jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. North Hall answered with three runs in the bottom of the first.

Harper Seymour homered for North Hall and finished with two hits, while Hayden Savage doubled and finished with two hits. Meanwhile, Kaitlin Edwards, Ashlyn Brewster and Ashley Goines each added an RBI.

East Hall next will play host to No. 1-ranked Buford on Thursday.
