According to executive director Jerry Gonzalez, the group of GALEO members and volunteers will meet for lunch and then head door-to-door.
"GALEO is working with a set of volunteers from the community...ultimately to canvas Latino neighborhoods to ensure that all Latino voters engage on immigration reform, as well as to let them know about upcoming local elections in the city of Gainesville," said Gonzalez.
"We want to make sure Latino turnout is really strong."
The group planned meet over lunch at El Sombrero for a briefing and will then hit the pavement around 1:30 p.m.
Last weekend, Gonzalez said the group covered Ward 3.
