Braselton man charged with molestation in FB relationship

JEFFERSON - The Jackson County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Braselton man, charging him with aggravated child molestation in connection with a relationship involving a juvenile girl he apparently met on Facebook.

Authorities said William Anthony Patrick, 23, was arrested on September 11 after investigators conducted interviews and searched his home.

Investigators said the relationship between Patrick and the underage female has been going on for some time, although they did not specify that time period.

At this point, Patrick faces two counts of aggravated child molestation. Authorities said more charges could be forthcoming as they continue their investigation.
