GHCC Healthcare Reform Seminar is Wed.

GAINESVILLE - A Healthcare Reform Seminar will be held Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Brenau Downtown Center (formerly Georgia Mountains Center) in Gainesville.

It will be open to the public and will update businesses and the community on the impact of Healthcare Reform. Discussion will focus on what businesses can expect in regulations in 2013-2015, action steps for businesses, and the impact on small and large businesses. A panel of experts will include:

Dr. Phaedra Corso, University of Georgia Health Policy & Management
Commissioner Ralph Hudgens, Georgia Department of Insurance
Rob Fowler, Turner, Wood & Smith Insurance
Steve McNeilly, Northeast Georgia Health System

Everyone who attends will receive a Tool Kit on Healthcare Reform.

The seminar will be presented by the Greater Hall Chamber (GHCC) Healthcare Committee and VISION 2030 and sponsored by Brenau University, Northeast Georgia Health System, Rushton & Company, and Turner, Wood & Smith Insurance.

Registration is required. The cost is $15 for chamber members; $20 guests. The cost includes a light breakfast.
