Softball: England stars, as Gainesville pounds Cedar Shoals

Gainesville starter Kara England threw a one-hitter, as the Lady Red Elephants defeated Cedar Shoals 12-0 in four innings on Thursday.

Kayla Montague led the Gainesville offense, going 3-for-4, while England helped her own cause by going 2-for-3. Five other players had one hit apiece.

The Lady Red Elephants will host Norcross at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Lanier Point.
