CUMMING - Authorities have identified the woman killed in a three vehicle crash on Georgia 400 southbound Monday morning. The crash also injured one other.

Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy Doug Rainwater said the crash happened just south of Pilgrim Mill Road and involved a tractor trailer, a small passenger car and a van. The woman in the car, 60 year old Maria Martinez of Cumming, was killed, and Rainwater said the man driving the van - a paraplegic - was injured.

"The van caught on fire and two good Samaritans stopped and pulled him from the van," said Rainwater.

Rainwater said the man was reported to be in stable condition at Northside Forsyth Hospital. He said his injuries came as a result of the crash and not the fire. His identity has not been released.

At this point in the investigation, Rainwater said authorities are not sure who was at fault in the crash.

He said the accident occurred around 11:15 a.m. and the southbound lanes of the highway were closed until 12:40 p.m.
