Volleyball: North Hall sweeps, East Hall splits tri-match

The North Hall volleyball team swept two foes, while East Hall split matches on Tuesday in a tri-match.

The Lady Trojans took out East Hall 25-15 and 25-20 and then blasted Cross Keys 25-12, 25-2

Jen Mullican led North Hall with 15 kills and four blocks, while Juliana Paschall had 12 aces and an 18-point service run. Sydney Cleveland also had seven kills and an ace, while Julie Daniels had 10 kills and three aces. Kristina Gregory added 31 assists. Kalyn Dyer had three kills, three aces. Makenzie Bryant had 10 digs and three aces, while Bly Belcher added five aces and two kills.

Meanwhile, East Hall defeated Cross Keys 25-10, 25-13.

Tarryn Long had 11 points on serve with six aces to pace the Lady Vikings (16-7, 1-1 Region 7-AAA). She also had 17 kills, one assist, three blocks and 11 digs, while Kara Hix had 11 points on serve with four aces, two kills, one assist and 25 digs. Ashleigh Burnett also scored two points on serve with an ace, along with one kill and seven digs, while Jessica Chmiel had seven ponts scored on serve with three aces, as well as three kills, 12 assists and seven digs. Emily Roberts also had two kills, a block and a dig. Allison Segars had seven points on serve with three aces, four kills and two digs. Savannah Lindsey had eight points scored on serve with three aces, two assists and eight digs. Monica Dominguez also added nine assists and Clarissa Flores had three points on serve with three digs.
