KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) Authorities say at least two people were burned after someone set fire to several tents in a homeless camp outside Atlanta.

Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman Denell Boyd says the blaze happened sometime before 6 a.m. Wednesday in the Kennesaw area, just northwest of Atlanta.

Boyd tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that two people were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment of burns. Their conditions weren't immediately available.

Police tell WAGA-TV that someone poured gasoline on the tents and set them on fire.

Cobb County police Officer Mike Bowman tells WXIA-TV that a suspect is in custody and faces two counts of aggravated battery. His name wasn't immediately released.
