Softball: Lady Wolves move to 4-0 with win over Brookwood

SUWANEE -- The Buford softball team defeated Brookwood 8-3 on Saturday in the Hawk/Bulldog Invitational Tournament in Suwanee.

Tessa Daniels earned the win in the pitching circle for the Lady Wolves (4-0) turning in a complete game, with seven hits allowed, two runs, four strikeouts and a walk.

Noah Sudderth helped Buford at the plate, with a hit and two RBIs, while Remington Hasty turned in a double, an RBI and scored two runs. Baylee Sexton also had two RBIs, a hit and a walk, while had a hit, RBI, three walks and two stolen bases.

Buford's final game of the Hawk/Bulldog Tournament with Winder-Barrow was cancelled due to wet conditions on the field. Buford ended tournament play undefeated (3-0). The next game for Buford is a Region 7-AAA road trip to Fannin county on Tuesday. Game time is 5:55 p.m.
