Splash Zone at Frances Meadows Aquatic Center closed today

GAINESVILLE - Due to unseasonably cool temperatures and a forecast of rain, the outdoor Splash Zone at the Frances Meadows Aquatic Center in Gainesville will be closed today. <br /> <br /> Because of an expected continued rainy pattern, decisions on its operation will be made on a day to day basis over the weekend. <br /> <br /> Would-be visitors should call the center at 770.533.5850 in advance to verify the facility's status. The indoor pools are open and will remain on a normal operating schedule.<br />
