The magazine ranked 25 counties across the United States in its most recent rankings.
The county was recognized for the large number of global companies that have established workplaces in Gwinnett. In addition, the magazine praised Gwinnett for expansions of such companies as Mitsubishi Electric US Heating & Cooling.
"We are excited that Gwinnett County has been recognized as an excellent place to live and work with this national listing," said Gwinnett County Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash.
"This is a testament to our community's success in building a great place to live and work and then aggressively marketing ourselves to encourage jobs creation and business investment in Gwinnett."
The number one county on the list is also in Georgia - Columbia County on the east side of the state.
