BALDWIN - Four people were hurt, at least one seriously, in a two-vehicle wreck on Georgia 365 at Georgia 384 (Duncan Bridge Road) in Baldwin Wednesday night.

Both busy highways were shut down to allow an AirLife medical helicopter to land at the scene to pick up one patient. That person was flown to Gwinnett Medical Center's trauma center.

Two others, including a small child, were taken by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Another person was taken by car for treatment, GSP officials said at the scene.

The wreck involved a pickup truck and a small sport utility vehicle.

Emergency personnel from numerous departments responded, including Baldwin Police, Baldwin Fire, Cornelia Police, Habersham EMS, Habersham County Fire, and Habersham County Sheriff's Office.

Additional details will be released Thursday, troopers said.
