According to the accident report, the Friday crash happened around 6:25 p.m. at the intersection of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and South Old Peachtree Road.
The victim, 50 year old Joe E. Vaughn of Cumming, was headed north on Peachtree Industrial when a southbound car turned left into his path at the intersection, according to police.
Vaughn's 2006 Harley Davidson FLHRI and a 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder collided in the intersection. Vaughn died in the collision. The car's driver, 26 year old Soo H. Kim of Norcross, suffered minor injuries.
Kim was arrested and charged with misdemeanor second degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield while turning left.
