ATLANTA - A grocery store produce manager from Toccoa is the latest millionaire in north Georgia, thanks to a win with the Georgia Lottery. Brandon Leverette won a $1 million top prize playing the instant game Georgia Lottery Premium.

Circle M Food Shop #0012, 4504 Cornelia Highway in Lula, sold the winning ticket.

"I went to my truck and scratched it," the 24-year-old said. "I almost had a heart attack."

Leverette decided to play "on a gut instinct."

"I'm still pretty speechless. It's pretty surreal," he said.

Leverette said he intends to invest his winnings and purchase a new car.
