The event is open to the public and will run from 6-7:30 p.m. The event will begin with a full-team practice, and following practice fans will engage in a question and answer session as well as a team autograph session. In addition, spectators will have the opportunity to participate in contests with Dream players/coaches and win prizes.
Local businesses are invited and encouraged to sponsor kids to attend the event by paying their admission costs. Season tickets will also be available for purchase during the event.
Admission, which includes one ticket to any upcoming Dream game, is $15, unless the purchaser selects a ticket for Aug. 20 game vs. Minnesota, Sept. 2 vs. Los Angeles or Sept. 8 vs. Phoenix, in which case the admission cost is $25. For every ticket purchased, $5 goes to Gainesville High School.
