GAINESVILLE -- The Gainesville Jaycees continued their charitable work in the Gainesville/Hall County community on Thursday when the organization presented Junior Achievement with a $2,500 donation.
Members of the Jaycees presented a check to Lee Highsmith, the executive director of the Northeast District of Junior Achievement of Georgia.
Highsmith noted that the grant would aid 750 area youths.
Junior Achievement is dedicated to teaching financial and academic responsibility to school-age children from kindergarten through high school.
