Rabun County Courthouse to close during chairman's funeral

CLAYTON - The Rabun County Courthouse will be closed for a time Monday afternoon to allow county employees to attend the funeral of Commission Chairman Stanley "Butch" Darnell.

Darnell, 64, died Friday at his Rabun Gap home.

The celebration of life service for Darnell will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Reardon Theater at Rabun Gap Nacoochee School.
