Forsyth Co. fire station closing for repairs

FCUMMING - Forsyth County Fire Station 5 will temporarily close for repairs beginning Friday, June 21.

While the station, which is located on Holtzclaw Road is closed, three other stations - 1, 9 and 11 - will cover the territory assigned to it.

"Every effort will be made to expedite the needed repairs and return Fire Station 5 to a state of readiness as soon as possible," Fire Chief Danny Bowman said.

But it's not been determined how long it will be closed.
