Auctioneers delay sale of Saban's $11M Lake Burton home

RABUN COUNTY - A multi-million dollar lakefront home in northeast Georgia owned by University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban is still for sale.

The 9,600-square-foot house didn't sell at auction as scheduled last Thursday. The company handling the property said Monday the auction is now set for June 27, three weeks later than planned.

A separate Alabama football package that includes four seats in Saban's private family box will be sold the same day, with proceeds going to Saban's personal charity fund.

Originally priced at about $11 million, the house is located on Lake Burton in the Rabun County. Saban developed the property with a builder.

The coach isn't selling his family's resort home on the same lake.
