Forsyth County S.O. continues alcohol checks at businesses

CUMMING - Forsyth County Sheriff's deputies continued checking area businesses for alcohol sales compliance related to minors last week.

Once again, several businesses were cited for allegedly selling alcohol to an underage buyer.

Although authorities released the information Monday, they conducted the most recent checks last Wednesday, visiting 20 establishments.

The four businesses facing the citations were Walgreens at 1650 Buford Highway, Asian Table at 2950 Buford Highway, Los Rios at 2950 Buford Highway and the Chevron at 502 Lakeland Plaza, according to the sheriff's office.

The businesses facing citation are required to appear in Magistrate Court, according to Sgt. Josh Watson, supervisor of the Ordinance and Permits Unit.
