Jackson County deputies make arrests at party

COMMERCE - Jackson County authorities busted up another weekend party, arresting three people early Saturday morning in Nicholson.

Deputies responded to find ten to 15 people in the yard. They spoke with homeowners and began checking guests for underage drinking, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrested 20 year old John Lee Kesler of Nicholson and 17 year old Courtney Elizabeth Cline of Lula on charges related to underage drinking.

22 year old Matthew Stephen Thomas of Commerce was arrested on an outstanding warrant for child support.

Authorities did not disclose the address of the residence the party was being held at.

Last month, deputies arrested 14 people at a party in Commerce.
