Dr. Cullen, who relocated out of state, selected Amy Borrow, M.D., and Stephen Fisher, M.D., of Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine at The Longstreet Clinic in Buford, to take over the practice.
Both Dr. Borrow and Dr. Fisher are certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and sub-specialty certified in sports medicine. They specialize in sports injuries, advanced arthroscopic techniques for the knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle, rotator cuff repair and shoulder stabilization, total and partial joint replacement, pediatric and adult fractures, sprains and more. Combined, they have nearly 18 years of orthopaedic and sports medicine experience.
"Our medical backgrounds and training are similar to Dr. Cullen's, allowing us to continue providing the quality sports medicine and orthopaedic care patients have come to expect," Dr. Borrow said.
"Together, we have cared for patients of all ages and taken care of many injuries and conditions in athletes and non-athletes alike," added Dr. Fisher.
Dr. Borrow, earned her medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed her internship and orthopaedic residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami. In addition, she completed a sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala., under the direction of renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews.
Dr. Fisher earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Wayne State University
