Tennis: Lady Falcons soar past Clarke Central

The Flowery Branch girls tennis team swept past Clarke Central 5-0 on Thursday, dropping just two games en route.

Nicole Morris won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles for the Lady Falcons (2-4, 2-0 Region 8-AAAAA), while Durden Smith won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Flowery Branch took the No. 3 singles point by default, while the No. 1 doubles team of Dani Taylor and Kaia Clark and the No. 2 doubles team of Megan Ribovich and Taylor Tipton each prevailed 6-0, 6-0.
