Baseball: Chalmers, Lions shut out Chestatee

GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy baseball team picked up its first win of the season Wednesday in an 8-0 victory over Chestatee.

Dakota Chalmers earned the win fanning 11 batters.

Dallas Deavers and Justin Muldowney each had two hits to pace the Lakeview offense. Deavers had two RBI and Muldowney had one for the Lions (1-1). Drake Hollander scored two runs and had three RBI for Lakeview.

Lakeview next will take on Riverside Military on Tuesday.
