RABBITTOWN -- Hunter Buffngton and Jacob Cash led the way in helping the East Hall baseball team to a 7-1 victory over Jackson County on Monday at East Hall Park.

Buffington singled in the first inning, reached on a error in the second inning, and doubled in the fourth inning. Meanwhile, Jacob Cash shut down Jackson County from the mound in relief, giving up just one hit, and no earned runs. He also produced three strikeouts and three walks in three innings of work.

Hunter Warwick also pitched well in earning the win, allowing just one run over four innings. Warwick struck out one, walked two and gave up four hits.

Buffington and Cash also teamed up for five hits and four RBIs. The lone run of the game for Jackson County crossed the plate in the first inning on an RBI single by Ben Brissey. The Vikings quickly matched the Panthers, however, with one run of their own in the first. East Hall scored two runs to take the lead in the second on a two-run double by Cash.
