BUFORD -- Buford showed just how dangerous it is when it gets a balanced offensive attack.

A.J. Davis poured in 32 points and Kyle Doyle added 19 inside the paint to lead Buford to a 84-68 win over Gordon Central Saturday night.

Point guard Isaiah Williams poured in 21 points for the Wolves mainly from the outside to give Buford a solid inside-outside game.

With the win the Wolves (24-6) moved into the state quarterfinals. The Region 7-AAA champs next will take on Woodward Academy, Region 6-AAA champs, at home on Wednesday.

Roderick King had 24 points and D.J. Prather added 22 points for Gordon Central.

Buford last reached the quarterfinals in 2011, when the Wolves went on to finish as Class AA runner-up.
