According to the Georgia State Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 9:25p.m. on Yarbrough Ridgeway Road about a mile North of 98. A van being driven by 40-year-old Janie Lynn Garrett of Commerce, crossed the centerline and hit another vehicle head-on. Garrett was killed in the crash.
Two other people were injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
