Esteban Mosqueda-Romero was convicted after a seven-day trial before Superior Court Judge Bonnie Oliver, according to Hall County District Attorney Lee Darragh.
Darragh said the jury deliberated for less than an hour before the conviction on counts of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery and three counts of child molestation.
The female victim, now seven years old, testified at the trial. She was four at the time of the crimes, according to Darragh.
If he's ever released, Mosqueda-Romero would be on probation, with special conditions related to sex offenders. With his age, Darragh said it's unlikely Mosqueda-Romero will ever be released from prison.
Wanda Vance was lead counsel for the state. The case wrapped up last Friday night.
